Southeast Asia mini-projects due the Monday after break

You should almost be done with your research so you now have 2 class meeting to complete the following mini-project. Here are your choices:

Southeast Asia: mini Project Options

1) A set of Quizlet flashcards using your Southeast Asia research and the 5 themes of Geography

-make 10 flashcards, 2 for each theme

-on one side of the card write the name of the theme (Location, Place, Human Environmental Interation, Movement, and Region)

-on the other side, write a related fact from your research

-play quizlet games with your friends and if you can, email Ms. Mack a link to your cards.

OR

2) Create a mini-poster (8.5x11):

-List the 10 most important facts about your country

-include at least 2 facts related to each theme of geography

-include at least 2 images

-use your best writing and complete sentences

OR

3) Your choice option: must be approved by Ms. Mason or Ms. Mack

The projects we started today in class are not homework, but if you would like to do more research at home, scroll down to the bottom of this blog and look for the Geography website link to find some reliable geography websites.

And please remember to study for Friday's geography quiz by playing the Asia games.

Reminder: there will be a short geography quiz (the last one on Asia) on countries in southeast Asia #34-44 on your study guide map. Please play the Asia game to practice this week!

Gandhi Article from class and HW

If you were absent today, or need a bit more work on what we read together, here is a link to the Gandhi Article.

Also remember, if you are a movie buff and would like to watch the film Gandhi with your family, write a summary/response to the film and I will give you extra credit.
