Learning Objectives

1)   Locate and print out a magazine article from the JFK Library website

2)   Understand how to cite a magazine article in a bibliography

3)   Select a relevant article about a component of culture, read it and write a short summary

Steps for completion:

1. Follow the instructions for going onto the JFK library web page
2. Select Databases
3. Select Infotrac K-12 Junior Edition
4. Put in your subject in the search bar  (for example: Iran) and check "magazine"
5. Find any article that is about the HUMAN CHARACTERISTICS of the country that looks interesting to you. Remember the CULTURE WEBS we made in class yesterday- your article should have to do with one of the aspects of culture.
6. Select the article and print it out.
7. Read the article carefully.
8. On the top of your paper, write a proper citation for the article.
9. Write a one paragraph summary of the article.
